Axel Andreasson had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. His parents had a small farm named Stommen, Boda in Parish Torp in County Dalsland in the west of Sweden.
 
Axel left Sweden in 1923 and moved to Unga about the middle or end of 1920's and stayed there until the middle or end of the 1960's.
 
He worked as a cook on a fishing boat and sometimes wrote in the Swedish-Amerikan newspaper.
